NYC ACS Seeks Retired Detectives

October 19, 2017

The New York City Administration for Children’s Services is currently seeking retired Detectives and Detective Supervisors for vacancies in the Agency’s Investigative Consultation Program.

Investigative consultants provide support to caseworkers who are investigating reports of suspected child abuse and neglect. They provide analysis on criminal history and domestic violence records, assist in locating children and families and may respond with caseworkers on investigations that are especially challenging. The candidate should include in the resume the time frames for each investigative command as well as a description of the type of investigative work performed at each of those commands (i.e., Homicide, Domestic Violence, Sex Crimes, Child Abuse, Missing Persons, Assault.)

Must be retired at least one year. Competitive salary and vacation/leave plan/deferred compensation plan.  Openings on all shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.  Visit the link below and do a keyword search for Investigative Consultant or Protection Agent.
