Armed Security Needed for Manhattan and Bronx

Armed, proactive men and women needed to work security at various synagogues in Manhattan (on the Upper East Side) and in Riverdale (in the Bronx).

 

Seeking people who can handle assignments on a regular basis (Friday evenings and Saturday mornings).

 

Hourly pay is $27.50 with a four-hour minimum.  Friday evenings are usually 4:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., and Saturday mornings are normally 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

 

Duties include access control (observation/profiling) as congregants arrive and depart, and bag searches when necessary. Dress is business attire: dark suit/white shirt/corporate tie for men; women will wear dark pant suits, with blue crew neck or button down blouses; polished dress shoes for all.
