There is a $5 refund on your co-pay for doctor's office visits for members of GHI/CBP and HIP/VIP for up to 15 office visits per year per family. Exclusions or services not covered under the DEA co-payment refund are as follows: 

Doctor visits prior to 1/01/08

Lab Tests

X-Rays, Blood Work, MRIs, Sonograms

Allergy Injections

Psych Pharm Management

Hearing Evaluation

Physical Speech Therapy 

Other exclusions may apply that are not listed above. 

Retirees should call the DEA Health Benefits Office at (212) 587-9120 in January for a refund form. Filing for refunds falls between January 1 and March 31 for your previous year's doctor visits.  

Checks will be mailed in April.
